Do you sell direct to consumers?

We sell our upholstered furniture through authorized Carter dealers who are reputable retail stores throughout the United States, Canada and many other countries worldwide. We think that furniture is best experienced in three dimensions, rather than two. It just seems more practical to “go check it out” at the store, if you can. It is really nice to be able to “test drive” the furniture. Click here to find a retailer closest to you.

 

Where can I see all of your products?

None of our authorized dealers carry our entire line of products. We work with our retail accounts to individually develop an assortment for their store. Use the Dealer Locator to find an authorized dealer in your area.

 

Can you give me a price on my preferred style?

Our Retail Dealers establish retail prices.

 

May I use my own fabrics?

Yes, we do accept COM (customers own material ) which must be 54” wide and be pre-approved by our customer service dept. (See order entry procedures for COM) We also have over 400 fabrics from which you may select your favorite. Look for a Retailer who has a complete gallery of Carter fabrics.

 

How do I care for my Carter furniture?

  • Upholstered furniture, should be brushed or vacuumed regularly, at least once a month.
  • Protect your furniture from direct sunlight as this will cause fabrics to fade.
  • For spills on fabric, immediately dab with a towel dampened with club soda or clean water.
  • Before trying to remove a spill or stain from your upholstered furniture, you should first test the cleaning method on an inconspicuous spot to ensure that it has no negative effect on the fabric.

 

Professional Cleaning:

  • To promote longer wear we highly recommend that you have your upholstery, professionally cleaned.
  • Professional cleaners will match the cleaning process with your specific fabrics.
